I tell her what I want and she makes it happen. She also reminds me that the red sauce in the unlabeled squirt bottle will burn my face off and the other unlabeled one is "mild". Today I had three some shrimp tacos and a shrimp cocktail. So freaking good. I'm a foodie. I don't care what the outside of a place looks like, I'm all about the food. This is a hidden gem. I got a tostada with barbacoa - I am figuring out the barbacoa shredded beef I get in KY is not what is typically used in authentic Mexican dishes. Something a little greasy/gamey I'm not used to but others find delicious, sorta like lamb for me. Still, this dish was overall delicious and fresh! Also got one street taco with asada - also delicious! The salsas are both properly spicy and flavorful, none of that weak Americanized stuff! ”
